Relic Recovery is dedicated to assisting organizations and individuals in researching the past and finding piece of mind through the discovery of historical or lost objects using our metal detection services.
Based in southern Vermont, we travel throughout New England and the United States, and will consider
providing our services in exchange for travel expenses
or room and board.
We are a team of competent metal detectors who
operate with an appreciation of history and the
historical aspects of whatever location we visit.

Relic Recovery is a small business that specializes in the recovery of objects that hold historical, sentimental, functional, or forensic significance through the use of metal detectors.
If you are a home owner who is interested in doing historical research on your property, have lost an object of value such as a wedding ring, are the member of a historical society or museum--or need to use metal detection in a forensic application--Relic Recovery may be able to meet your needs.
All of our services are confidential and provided according to our client's needs.

Fees: Our fees vary depending on your needs and goals, as well as with the location to be investigated.
In lieu of a standard rate, we develop each case individually, and in conjunction with you, our client, we will come up with a reasonable and affordable fee.
We will also work for trades and barter, a finders fee based on the object(s) to be located, and will consider offers of room and board and travel expenses in exchange for our services.
Our primary goal is to provide a valuable and individualize service to each client.
NOTE: For items that have been lost recently, for example a wedding ring lost in the yard, we are more interested in reuniting the object with its owner and will consider providing such services FREE OF CHARGE.
